    ah okay okay i get it, let's consider you are the winner then.
    You know RPG san, drawing, stuff like that, you need it grand in the chapter 1, 2 to 10 or 12 maybe, grab enough fans and they'll start to think that drawing is in second. You knew Air gear? how about Oh great's drawing? great? can't argue.. but in fact in this harsh society, there is someone who would willingly said that "Air Gear, suck! it's the worst comic i read! Ikki's Suck! i don't want to read Air Gear anymore!" Do you know what does that means?

    IMO,well it's about the market's opinion, if you are aiming to get sold a lot, sold a whole lot of bunch of your comic, aim for the kids and present great and wonderfully awesome drawing.. they'll get interested in a single glance and waiting for the hero of your comic to pose a cool pose all the time, but no romance and ecchi scene. But if you are aiming to an adult reader, minimal drawing, or at least nice enough drawing is enough, as long as it's acceptable and well done..but the story, you have to make it wonderful and unthinkable.. or at least close to both of em..

    that's the difference, it's another matter when you are aiming self satisfaction, you have to feel it, art is not about technical stuff all the time, it's about feeling too... i told you the second ingredients right?

    you know, when you can make an interesting story, your drawing will come in second in a reader's mind, but make sure to make it neat tough...
